Dr. Nilufar Mammadova is a surgeon with 5.5 years of successful clinical surgical experience spanning across Azerbaijan and Russia. Her experience includes helping, watching or participating as a pin over 800 surgical operations of differing complexity, while working with and learning from some of the most professional and talented surgeons in Azerbaijan and Russia.
Having started her medical career in the field of paediatrics, she very soon realized that she can have much bigger contribution to the society after seeing grief of parents of children with acute surgical treatment needs. She made an important decision of her life to become a surgeon!
In 2013 she started as a junior surgeon assistant at Topcubasov Scientific Surgery Centre, known as the most innovative cardio surgery centre in Azerbaijan. From 2018 to 2020 she worked at a Federal Centre of Cardio-Vascular Surgery in Perm, Russia participating in over 150 adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries. Over the past years Dr Mammadova has co-organised events, participated in externships and constantly learned from professional surgeons and specialists.
In 2021 Dr. Mammadova completed her Observership in Plastic Surgery at Baku Medilux Centre. This is what she says about her professional interest in aesthetic surgery:
“My fascination with the aesthetic surgery is something that comes from who I am as a person. I love creativity, I have excellent handcrafting skills, I am extremely patient, almost pedantic when it comes to completing things that require uninterrupted attention. I love when people are happy, when they feel young and beautiful. And I am a surgeon.”
